Principle of operation
- The grape pump operates on the principle of two sets of sliding vanes inside a rotary drum driven by an external motor.
- The vanes move in and out via guides inside the rotary drum. When the vane is out it pushes the product from the inlet to outlet after which the vane is mechanically suppressed back into the rotary drum.
Characteristics and construction
- The pump is of very strong construction utilizing materials capable to stand against poor and contaminated fruits.
- The pump is easily disassembled for its servicing.
- The gentle principle of operation allows high volume product movement to be maintained at relatively low rotation speed. This means minimal product damage.
- The pump is equipped by stainless steel tank and screw in the inlet.
