About presses not for press.

One of the widespread mode for extraction of juice from the prepared fiber of the fruits in the first wine-making is the pressing. The main demands to the presses are the maximal outlet of product with minimal content of the suspension, keeping the natural quality in juice, the rapidity and continuity of the process, possibility of the mechanization and automation, the high economical work.

On this moment there is the unfavorable situation in the Belarus with equipping for receiving the juices in the first wine-making.

The analysis of the food enterprises of our Republic displays that there is installed old equipment such as:

• hydraulic press made in Poland, type POK-200, issued in the 70-th where the manual work is used and the outlet of juice doesn't extend 75%. These presses are displaced and the users have the problems at the maintenance works and capital repairs on account of the spare parts. The capacity of these presses doesn't extend 3 tones at hour;
• hydraulic press made in Ukraine, type 2P-41 with analogical problems and defaults, the capacity is 1,5 tones/hour, the outlet of juice doesn't extend 75%;
• continuous screw press VPS-5 or ПЯ-5 made in "Krymprodmash". In contrast to listed above they have the more perfect construction, the capacity is 5 тонн/час, the outlet of juice is from 60% till 75% and depends on the quality of the working product. The defects are:
  • VPS-5 is displaced in 1994 and there are a lot of problem with its repair;
  • on these presses it is possible to work only the apples in contrast to hydraulic POKК-200 and 2P41 where it is possible to work the berries;
  • on outlet the juice has the big quantity of suspension and demands the auxiliary filtration and separation.

In view of that this equipment doesn't produce more and the reserves on the warehouses are exhausted there is one variant. It is acquisition of high technological modern import equipment. There is no similar one in our country.

There are a lot of manufacturers of presses but the world lieder is the French company VASLIN BUCHER.

This is the biggest manufacturer of the presses in the world with central office in the France and the branches all over the world.

Nowadays our food enterprises have the financial difficulties and there is no possibility to buy the hydraulic presses because they are expensive, power consuming and have the difficulties in the technical maintenance and they are used at he big volume of production.

On the assumption of the experience we consider the belt press is the optimal machine for making apples. The model type of the equipment is classified by the capacity - from 5 till 30 t/hour.

The outlet of juice on these presses is up to 85%. The advantages are the simple construction, dependability in exploitation. It is recommended to buy at once duplicate belt though the term of its exploitation is 5 years but mechanical defaults have place because with the apples can be occurred strange objects.

It is used the pneumatic presses for making berries.

The last one is simple in the exploitation, it is used the minimal manual labour, it has the wide range of program capable to work all berries in individual rate. The outlet of juice is up to 95% at using the modern technology of making fiber. For effective work of enterprise we recommend to install simultaneously the belt and the pneumatic presses.
